Arby's

The Arby's Foundation has committed $500,000 to support every community where Arby's has a restaurant, including Northwest Arkansas. The NWA area Arby's team is proud to have selected Farmington Public Schools as a recipient of a $21,422.71 grant to support the effort around childhood hunger. With these funds, FPS can pay off all student lunch debt to help students and families needing support.

In total, the Arby's Foundation anticipates giving out nearly two hundred total grants around the United States.

Farmington Superintendent Jon Laffoon stated, "We are so honored to receive this grant from the Arby's Foundation. Our community means so much to us, and we're proud to provide children with meals necessary to grow and thrive".

“This grant alleviates the financial burden of some of our families who may be struggling to cover the costs of their child’s meals. We will always feed our students, and this grant's funding will allow us to continue to do so without a deficit in our program. Thank you, Arby’s, for your generosity.” says Wendy Burrus, Child Nutrition Director.
