thank you

Coach JR Eldridge has announced he is leaving his head coaching position at Farmington High School. During his tenure there, his overall record was 22-11 and 16-5 in three seasons, culminating in three consecutive state playoff births and a 5A-West Conference Championship this past season.

“I want to thank JR for all he has done for our football program and student-athletes over the past three years. Every day, he has worked extremely hard to elevate the Cardinals' stature and develop young men on and off the field,” said Farmington Superintendent Jon Laffoon.

District Athletic Director Beau Thompson states, “He is a relentless worker and a great builder of young men and culture within a program. I wish him the best as he enters his next chapter with GeoSurfaces.”

The search for a new head football coach will begin immediately. We are committed to maintaining Coach Jr. Eldridge's high standards and ensuring the continued success of our football program.
