The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) launched a redesigned school report card website, providing Arkansas families with an easier and more precise way to view their schools' and districts' performance. The report had great news for Farmington Schools! The District earned a strong “B” rating with a score of 507.29 — well above the state median of 451.39!

This rating highlights the outstanding work of our teachers, staff, and students over the last several years. Farmington students outperformed the state in English Language Arts, Math, and Science Achievement, posted improving growth scores, and had a 98% graduation rate.

Superintendent Jon Laffoon shared,

“We are incredibly proud of our district. Over the last six years, Farmington has experienced significant student growth. Sometimes, that makes academic growth challenging, but thanks to the dedication of our teachers and students, we are on the right path. The reason so many families are choosing Farmington is due to the excellent academic opportunities and outstanding extracurricular successes we’ve achieved over the last six years. Farmington’s mission — “Positively Impacting Every Student, Every Day” — continues to drive everything we do. From classroom instruction to championship-level extracurriculars, Farmington is proving that great things happen when a community comes together for kids.”

With academic growth on the rise, strong achievement levels across subjects, and continued improvement in student readiness, the Farmington School District is demonstrating that its vision for academic excellence is being met. A huge thank you to our teachers, students, parents, school board, and community for helping Farmington Schools continue to grow and succeed!
