Farmington Public Schools continues to demonstrate strong academic performance, earning a strong B in the 2026 Arkansas school accountability ratings.
Two schools improved by a full letter grade this year. Randall G. Lynch Middle School earned an A, while Jerry “Pop” Williams Elementary earned a B. Farmington Junior High maintained its B, while Farmington High School and Bob Folsom Elementary maintained their C ratings, but both improved their scores significantly.
“We are proud of the growth at our middle school and Williams Elementary, as well as the steady performance across our district,” Superintendent Jon Laffoon said. “These results reflect the daily work of our students, teachers, staff, and school leaders. It’s a challenge for our elementary and high school because we only test one grade level at those schools, but we understand that and will focus on growth. We will celebrate this progress while continuing to focus on growth and improved outcomes for every student.”
Farmington Public Schools also met the state’s student assessment participation requirements with 99.6% of students tested and is classified at Level 1 Support, with no district actions required.
