The Farmington Hall of Honor Committee is proud to announce the six distinguished individuals who will be inducted into the 2025 Farmington Hall of Honor. This year’s honorees exemplify excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, and service to community. The induction ceremony will take place at the Hall of Honor Banquet on Wednesday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m. in Cardinal Arena. Tickets are available for purchase online only at GoFan.co.
Bill Cooper – Class of 1975
Bill Cooper was a scholar-athlete at Farmington High School, serving as class president and graduating co-valedictorian. A three-sport letterman, he earned All-District honors in 1973 and 1974 and All-State in football in 1974 before representing Farmington in the Arkansas High School All-Star Game. He continued his football career at Abilene Christian University, where he was part of the 1977 NAIA National Championship team.
Madison Barnes – Class of 2012
One of the most successful pitchers in Farmington softball history, Madison Barnes compiled a career record of 61–9 with 437 strikeouts and a 1.62 ERA. She led the Lady Cardinals to the 2011 State Championship, earning MVP honors, and was twice named All-State. In addition to excelling in softball, Barnes competed in golf, qualifying for the state tournament. Her collegiate career included stops at Crowder College and Evangel University, where she also achieved NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition.
Lauren Williams – Class of 2006
Lauren Williams was a four-year starter for the Lady Cardinals basketball team, helping lead them to a remarkable 115–14 record, four consecutive state tournament appearances, and a state championship. She earned multiple All-State and Player of the Year honors during her career, while contributing leadership and playmaking that left a lasting mark on Farmington athletics. Her talent, determination, and championship mindset continue to inspire future generations.
Dennis Fletcher – Class of 1985
A multi-sport standout, Dennis Fletcher quarterbacked the Farmington football team to a 12–1 record and state semifinal appearance before leading the 1985 baseball team to a State Championship, where he was voted All-State MVP. At the University of Arkansas, he pitched in two College World Series under Coach Norm DeBriyn, finishing with a stellar 26–5 career record, ranking him #4 all-time as a Razorback. Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, Fletcher went on to play four years in the minor leagues.
Maegan Shreve – Class of 2005
A key contributor to Farmington’s softball success, Maegan Shreve helped lead the Lady Cardinals to the 2005 State Championship, where she was named State Player of the Year and Tournament MVP. Over her high school career, she was a two-time All-State honoree, four-time All-Conference selection, and standout student-athlete. Beyond athletics, Shreve has made a significant impact as a Special Education teacher and Special Olympics coach. In 2024, she became Farmington’s Unified Champion School Liaison, promoting inclusion and leadership for all students.
Jeff Oxford – Class of 1986
Jeff Oxford excelled as a basketball player earning All-District and All-State honors while serving as a leader for Farmington athletics. His contributions extend far beyond his playing days, as he has remained deeply engaged in supporting youth and serving the Farmington community. He served on the Farmington School's Board of Education from 2002-2021 and has been the voice of the Cardinal livestream team since 2011. Oxford’s lifelong commitment to excellence and service embodies the values of the Farmington Hall of Honor.
