Farmington Public Schools and Farmington Athletics will celebrate the people and teams who have helped shape Cardinal history during the 2026 Farmington Hall of Honor Induction Banquet on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m. at Cardinal Arena.
This year’s Hall of Honor class includes Carol Bundsgaard, Dara Clark-Beasley, Ryan Dennis, Randy Osnes, Floyd O. Shelley and Kris Webb. The evening will also feature special recognition of the 2000 and 2005 Farmington Lady Cardinals State Championship Softball Teams.
This year’s banquet will feature a new reception-style format with heavy hors d’oeuvres, providing more time for former Cardinals, families and friends to visit, reconnect and celebrate Farmington’s rich history.

Celebrating the 2026 Inductees
Randy Osnes dedicated 28 years to coaching high school softball, including 25 seasons at Farmington. He finished with 664 career victories, including a 592-158 record at Farmington. His teams won three State Championships, finished State Runner-Up nine times and captured 21 Conference Championships. Osnes was also named the 2018 NFHS National Coach of the Year.
Dara Clark-Beasley was a four-year softball letterman who helped Farmington finish as State Runner-Up in 2002 and 2003 before capturing the 2005 State Championship. An All-State performer and 2005 All-Star selection, she was also a member of Farmington’s 2004 State Championship basketball team. After continuing her softball career in college and graduating with honors from the University of Arkansas, she built a successful business career and currently serves as Vice President of Client Development at Synchrony.
Ryan Dennis, Class of 2006, was a standout multi-sport athlete who earned All-State honors in both basketball and football and finished his basketball career with more than 2,000 points. Dennis also competed in golf and baseball before attending Arkansas Tech University on an academic scholarship.
Kris Webb, Class of 1994, earned All-State recognition in both basketball and baseball. He averaged 25 points per game in basketball and hit .625 in baseball as a senior, earning selection to the Arkansas High School All-Star Game in both sports. The 1994 FHS Salutatorian went on to play basketball at Arkansas Tech University. His parents, Jerry and Brenda, were longtime supporters of Farmington Athletics, and Kris and his wife, Jamie, have continued to make Farmington their home.
Floyd O. Shelley helped the Cardinals complete a perfect 12-0 season and capture the 1973 Class B State Football Championship. He later earned All-State honors and was named Conference MVP before representing Farmington in the 1976 East-West All-Star Game. His impact on Farmington continued long after graduation, including 17 years of service with the City of Farmington before retiring in 2025 as Public Works Manager.
Carol Bundsgaard served Farmington students for 20 years before retiring in 2020. She coordinated 15 FHS yearbooks, mentored beginning teachers, supervised student-teachers and worked with students as the new FHS broadcast studio opened in 2017. In 2016, she was selected as the Barnes & Noble Favorite Teacher of the Year for the Fayetteville store.
Celebrating the 2000 & 2005 State Champions
This year’s ceremony will provide a special opportunity to celebrate two of Coach Randy Osnes’ State Championship teams, with both the 2000 and 2005 Lady Cardinals being recognized.
The 2000 Lady Cardinals made history by capturing the first softball state championship in Farmington High School history, completing an incredible 25-2 season. Led by Osnes, the team combined dominant pitching and outstanding defense with tremendous team chemistry and leadership. Their championship helped establish the standard for generations of Lady Cardinals who followed.
Five years later, Osnes and the Lady Cardinals returned to the top by capturing the 2005 State Championship.
Those two titles helped lay the foundation for what has become an outstanding Farmington Softball tradition. The Lady Cardinals have now made 10 State Championship Game appearances, winning five State Championships — 2000, 2005, 2011, 2024 and 2026 — and have reached the State Semifinals 16 times overall.
Farmington Athletics encourages all players, coaches, managers, families and others associated with the 2000 and 2005 championship teams to attend and be part of this special recognition. Former team members are encouraged to help spread the word and reconnect with teammates as we welcome both championship teams back home.
