The Farmington Cardinals outlasted the Pea Ridge Blackhawks last Friday night at the Battlefield 38-37 in double overtime. The Cardinals took a 3 point lead into the last 1:36 to play and Pea Ridge went the length of the field to kick a 36 yard field goal with no time left to tie the game at 24-24. Both teams scored touchdowns on all 4 possessions of overtime periods. Pea Ridge opted for a two point conversion on there last score and was stuffed by a Caleb Matthews QB sack. The Cardinals improve their record to 4-4 and 2-3 in league play going into the last week of the season. They travel to Alma to play this Friday.
