Today is National Teach Children to Save Day. And what better way to honor it than highlight our Personal Finance class taught by Mrs. Scates, which goes above and beyond the financial literacy graduation requirement from the state. Alexandra Partain (11) has used the knowledge she gained in this class especially well. She saved up to cover a third of the cost of her 2008 Ford Ranger she got this year. "I’ve been in performances starting my sophomore year and this was my last chance to be a part of a theatre production in high school, so I wasn't going to pass up this opportunity. I love being able to share so many experiences.
