Students in the Farmington NWTI Welding Program, representing multiple area schools and taught by Farmington teacher Glen Walker, attended the United Welding Institute certification program last week. 23 students earned 2F (horizontal fillet weld) certifications and 3 students earned 3F (vertical fillet weld). Lincoln High School's Josie S. impressed instructors so much they’re covering her entry fee for UWI’s March 13 competition where she’s projected to place in the top five! #ESED

Congratulations to Junior, Lucy Galan, who was a member of the Arkansas All State mixed choir. Lucy travelled to Hot Springs last week to rehearse and perform under the direction of Dr. Julie Yu. Lucy is the daughter of Megan and Tony Galan and is a member of the high school's Crimson Select Ensemble. #ESED

The Farmington High School HOSA Chapter attended this week’s State Leadership Conference in Hot Springs with three students qualifying for the International Leadership Conference. Olivia Hummel placed 3rd in the Occupational Therapy event while Molly Pendergraft and Makayla Cox placed 3rd in the Public Service Announcement event.
