Due to the timing of inclement weather, Farmington Public Schools will utilize a 10:00AM late start this morning. Bus pickup times will be delayed two hours from normal. School will dismiss at regular time this afternoon. Please stay tuned- there is a possibility of the use of limited bus routes depending on road conditions.

Thank you to Julianna Renales and Madi Erickson from the Biomedical Engineering Society with the University of Arkansas Engineering Department for coming to visit with our PLTW Biomedical students on December 1st. A huge congratulations is in order for FHS Senior, Macy Woodward!
Macy has been selected for the McKnight Scholars Leadership Program at Oklahoma State University. This is a prestigious award and an incredible scholarship opportunity. Congrats, Macy!!🎉


On Friday, Dec. 8th the Crimson Select Ensemble performed in Little Rock at the State Capitol for the "Sounds of the Season" event hosted by the Secretary of State. Students sang under the rotunda and then posed on the steps out front for a picture. The choir also toured the Old State House Museum, Arkansas' original state capitol building. #cardstudentsareworthit


On Saturday, Dec. 9th, members of the Farmington Songbirds, the high school's newest choir, performed at the Lights of the Ozarks on the square in Fayetteville. Members serenaded the crowd with pop Christmas tunes, as well as familiar carols. #cardstudentsareworthit

Last Friday, the FHS National Honor Society took a trip to the Farmington Senior Center to sing carols to community members there! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to spread holiday cheer and spend time with senior residents of Farmington! #cardstudentsareworthit




A big congratulations to Farmington FFA member Cale Jones for winning Showmanship in her division and Overall at the Mississippi Youth Expo in Jacksonville, Mississippi over the weekend! Great job, Cale! #cardstudentsareworthit


Semester exams for FHS begin Monday, December 11th. Please see the attached graphic for the schedule. Keep in mind:
1. Semester tests are not to be taken early.
2. Once a testing period begins, students CANNOT check out during that period even if every student in the class is finished early.
3. If a student is on campus, they must follow their normal schedule for each period. Students are not to go to other classes, the library, or the gym.
4. The exam make-up schedule for Friday, 12/15, is at follows:
A1 8-8:35 B1 8:40-9:15 A2 9:20-9:55 B2 10-10:35 A3 10:40-11:15 Lunch 11:15-11:45 B3 11:50-12:25 Student to library 12:30-1:30 A4 1:35-2:10 B4 2:15-2:45
