On Monday counseling interns Ms. Chan and Mrs. Belvardi spoke with students in Mrs. Harp's Pre-AP English 10 class about the importance of self-care. "We know motivation and energy is typically lower during the last 9 weeks," Chan said. Self-care can be anything that actively works to improve your physical, mental, or emotional health. The lesson included listening to music, coloring, and working with play-doh. Pictured: Zoey Pry, Joslyn Sexton, and Leela Soukup.

Sophomore Haven Schader takes a mask break while doing research in Ms. Flora's English 10 class as her project partner steps out of the room. Covid-19 has certainly changed the way most classrooms look & operate, but everyone at FHS is committed to providing our students with the highest level of education possible while keeping all students & staff as safe and healthy as we can. We are so thankful for a school community that looks out for each other the way our Cardinal family does. #cardstudentsareworthit #cardinalnation #farmingtonar #farmington #northwestarkansas #highschool

AP Chemistry teacher Mr. Jackson uses methyl alcohol in a demonstration before beginning a new unit of study. "I was introducing chemical reactions and energy changes. The energy exchange was between the air and the alcohol, and since the rate of reaction was so fast, the table was completely unharmed," Jackson said. #cardstudentsareworthit #cardinalnation #farmingtonar #farmington #northwestarkansas #highschool #science #AP #chemistry
