🚒👮♀️🚓 A Day to Remember! 🚒👮♂️🚓
Today was an incredibly special day at Farmington Pre-K Center as our little learners had the privilege of a fantastic visit from our Farmington Fire Department and Police Department! 🚒👮♀️🚓 As part of our ongoing lessons about community helpers, our Farmington Fire and Police Departments took time out of their busy schedules to educate and inspire our students. Our students were thrilled to see the fire engine and police cars up close.
Let's give a resounding round of applause to these incredible community helpers, our local heroes! 👏👏👏 Thank you for being our role models and for keeping us safe.

Pre-K programs help prepare students for school in a variety of ways. Not only do children gain a foundation for math and literacy, but they also learn important social and practical skills. It takes practice to listen to a teacher, wait for their turn, share classroom items, and to clean their personal work space. Pre-K teaches these skills, and more!
Starting Pre-K is a big moment in a child's life! Help your child prepare by making games out of self-help skills. For example, if your child will bring their lunch, practice unpacking it by going on a picnic and sitting "criss-cross applesauce." Race each other to see who can put their shoes on the fastest, or go for a walk wearing a backpack. It will make the first of school even easier!
We're ONE WEEK away from registration, and couldn't be more excited. Are you ready to register? Check our www.farmcards.org/o/prek/page/pre-k-registration to learn more about the forms you'll need!
