Our 1st graders are officially "bee-coming" coding experts! 🐝💻 Last week in STEAM, students tackled the Bee-Bot Maze Challenge. By designing their own mazes with different manipulatives, they practiced spatial reasoning and learned how to program their robots to navigate every turn. Students in the FHS Welding Program put their skills to the test this week at the United Welding Institute competition. Out of 140 students, Logan Burkett placed 8th overall, receiving a $1,500 scholarship, while Cooper Oliver and Josh Free both placed in the top 20! We are proud of the dedication and craftsmanship, they continue to show both in the shop and in competition! #ESED
