Congrats to our 3rd Grade EAST students who represented Bob Folsom Elementary EAST this week. They have worked hard all year on projects that help our school & community. Two of our students received the difference maker award (only 158 were given out of 2500 students)!

A big thank you to Casey from Crossland Construction for coming out to the Agricultural class. Casey told our students about internships they have for our Junior and Seniors here at Farmington. Important tips he shared with our students is that he wants to see kids that have good attendance in school and good grades. These two things are musts if students want these exclusive, well-paying internships.

The Williams EAST Conference team practiced their "conference pitch" and answered questions about their booth today at school. They also got shirts (made by Middle School EAST students) that they'll wear tomorrow when they head out for Hot Springs! Wish them luck!

Congratulations to the Farmington Coding Cardinals for participating in the UARK High School Programming Competition (HSPC) last week. Heath Daughtrey, Warren Petty, and Miles Batson competed other schools around the state. Out of 28 teams, ours represented us well by getting in the top half of the teams at 11th place. The Coding Cardinals also competed in the Arkansas Regional Coding Competition earlier this month and qualified for the State Championship. The championship will be held at the UA Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock on Saturday, April 29th!
