Students in PLTW were challenged to design and build the tallest free standing structure. Before building we discussed some of the tallest towers around the world and the conditions they must withstand. Design constraints were the structure had to stay standing for a minimum of 20 seconds with windy conditions.

Last night Mr. Jones and Mr. Sallee hosted the first meeting of the Big 4-H Livestock Club. This 4-H club prioritizes engaging the Farmington community and elementary students on showing market goats, sheep, cattle, and pigs at a high level while still being open to any individuals wanting to join a 4-H group in Washington County.
