The Farmington community is invited to celebrate its rich athletic tradition at the 2025 Hall of Honor Banquet, to be held Wednesday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m. in Cardinal Arena. Tickets are available for online purchase only through www.gofan.co. Seating is limited and the event is filling quickly, so supporters are encouraged to secure their tickets soon.
Among this year’s honorees is Madison Lewis (Barnes), one of the most decorated softball athletes in Farmington High School history. A 2012 graduate, Lewis starred on both the softball field and the golf course during her Cardinal career.
From 2009–2012, she was a dominant pitcher, finishing as the second winningest pitcher in Farmington softball history with a 61-9 record. She struck out 437 batters in 423 innings while maintaining a remarkable 1.62 ERA. Her performance earned her All-Conference honors in 2010, 2011, and 2012, as well as back-to-back All-State selections in 2011 and 2012. The highlight of her high school career came in 2011 when she led the Cardinals to a State Championship and was named State Tournament MVP. She also represented Farmington in the Junior Classic Showcase in 2011 and the All-Star Softball Game in 2012.
Madison was equally accomplished in golf, qualifying for the state tournament in 2010 and placing 13th out of 64 competitors.
She continued her softball career at Crowder College (2012–2013) and later at Evangel University (2014–2017), where she capped her career by being named an NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete during the 2016–2017 academic year.
Please join us in celebrating Madison Lewis, other inductees, and the 1985 State Championship Baseball Team at this year's banquet!

This year’s celebration will recognize several outstanding inductees, including Dennis Fletcher, one of Farmington’s most accomplished athletes whose success reached both the collegiate and professional levels.
Fletcher was the starting quarterback of the 1985 Farmington football team that finished 12-1, capturing a conference championship and advancing to the state semifinals. That same school year, he played a pivotal role in leading Farmington to the 1985 State Baseball Championship, earning All-Conference honors and being named All-State MVP.
He accepted a scholarship from legendary University of Arkansas baseball coach Norm DeBriyn and went on to become a three-year conference starter for the Razorbacks. Fletcher pitched in both the 1987 and 1989 College World Series, where the Hogs finished fifth nationally. In 1989, he was selected to the All-Regional Team at the NCAA Northeast Regional in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Fletcher still holds a place among the Razorback baseball greats: Top 10 in career innings pitched, Top 10 in career starts, a 26–5 overall record, No. 1 in win-loss percentage, and No. 4 in career victories.
He went on to be drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals, spending four seasons in the minor leagues.
Join us September 24th to celebrate Dennis Fletcher and the rest of the 2025 Hall of Honor inductees at Cardinal Arena.
